About us

Backgrounds in hospitality, storytelling, and events

Jennifer is a fourth-generation Grant County local with a passion for supporting a strong and healthy community. Brent was born in the Midwest but immediately recognized how special and full of potential Silver City is when first visiting 16 years ago. We held our wedding reception at The Seedboat in 2015, and now envision operating it as a community hub that engages the region’s current and future leaders and thinkers.
